Skill Builder signing onto Amazon Purchase account wants OTP

Trying to do some training which sends me to skill builder which wants me to sign into the Amazon account. My research indicates I need to sign in with my personal email, which I use to purchase products from Amazon. When I do that it prompts for a OTP. I wait over 10 minutes to get this email and by then it appears to be no longer a valid code or something else. The response says a problem but doesn't give a why/what the problem is. Note my personal email is an alias (like: H****@K*.name).
