Lightsail with Plesk - do I need DNS zones and/or Route 53?

0

I currently host a few small websites with another provider and am evaluating AWS Lighthouse because it is cheaper than my current host. If I'm using Plesk, do I need to transfer my domains to Route 53? I've currently got approximately 10 domains (a few of which are simply used for redirecting to sites with similar domains and a few which are just used for development/playing around), and would prefer to not have to transfer all of them to a new registrar, and Plesk already handles all the DNS records for me.

Hello.

If you use AWS services such as Lightsail, I think migrating your domain to Route53 will make integration and management easier.
If you are thinking about setting up a Lightsail load balancer in the future, I think it would be convenient to use Route53 because you can use alias records.
Also, it is not absolutely necessary to migrate, so I think it is better to compare the costs, time, and labor required for migration before deciding whether to migrate.
