trying to ssh into an ec2 instance

after creating my ec2 instance I downloaded the key and tried to use putty to ssh into the server but it gives me network error in northern Virginia region but successful in Ohio

can you check the security group /NACL rules in Ohio region and add your endpoint/Laptop IP to access the serve via SSH.

Also check if server has elastic IP assigned and connected to.a VPC with IGW attachment and then use the elastc IP to SSH into the server.

easier/safer way is to use SSM session Manager.
