Does the aws.greengrass.SecureTunneling component support multiplex streams?

0

Hi,

I've successfully deployed the aws.greengrass.SecureTunneling component to my GG Core device, and am able to establish an SSH connection using the local proxy approach. I'd now like to forward another port (e.g. 8888) over the SSH tunnel that has been established (i.e. I'd like to use multiplex streams as outlined in example from this AWS documentation here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/iot/latest/developerguide/multiplexing-multiple-streams.html). Is this something that the aws.greengrass.SecureTunneling component can achieve out of the box, or would I need to install the localproxy on the target GG Core device as well as the source device?

Many thanks.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the delayed response!

Multiplexing is not supported in the green grass secure tunneling component but it's planned in the future. In the mean time, only localproxy has support for multiplexing.
