Why can't I connect to the internal load balancer dns?

0

hi I created apps on an internal load balancer using vpn.

Other apps work fine. Only a specific app could not be accessed through the internal load balancer address.

What's interesting is that the app is accessed through a proxy (reverse proxy).

I think the reason why I can't connect is because of the security group.

All ports of tcp and all ips of ipv4 were allowed, but access to the internal load balancer dns was not possible.

What could be the cause and how do I fix it?

Not Enough information to suggest a reason.

  1. Can you access the load balancer from any client machine within same VPC?
  2. Can you access the load balancer with IP address instead of URL?
  3. Are you testing from Client VPN remotely?
  4. If you run dig or nslookup to load balancer URL from your machine. Does it resolve?
  5. If you run telnet to load balancer URL on port 80/443 from your machine. Does it connect?
  6. If you run telnet to load balancer IP address on port 80/443 from your machine. Does it connect?
  7. Can you connect other machines in VPC with DNS Name?
  8. Can you connect other machines in VPC with IP address?

Above information will help narrow down the issue
