Unable to access Internet from an EC2 instance

0

Hello,
My instance ID is: i-0e5a2c191d4ff1b02
This instance is in a public subnet in a custom VPC. The subnet is associated to the route table that has the route to Internet via Internet Gateway.
DNS resolution is working.

I am able to logon to the instance via SSH.

However, from the instance, outoging connections to the Internet is not working.

ping google.com

Can't connect to Yum repositories.

What could be the issue?

I reviewed the networking configuration after having a cup of coffee.
Recently, I had accidentally removed the outgoing connections in the attached security groups. I undid the change and all is well.
