I had two questions about re:Post.

  1. What kind of vetting is done in order to remove or update stale questions?
  2. Could re:Post be used to answer security questions such as best practices, IT Governance, or even specific use case questions?

Hi.

What kind of vetting is done in order to remove or update stale questions?

No vetting required for your own question.

Could re:Post be used to answer security questions such as best practices, IT Governance, or even specific use case questions?

Is possible. If the issue is dependent on your particular AWS account, etc., you'll need to contact her AWS support.

  • I meant more generally across re:Post as a whole. How does AWS ensure the quality of the content remains high? Thanks!

  • Problematic content can be flagged using the Flag feature. It is not disclosed how the deletion process will be carried out.

Also, since EXPERT and Tier are points based on approved answers, they can be used as a certain level of reliability. In addition, there is also a mechanism for responses to be evaluated by a third party through the Vote function.
