I have a blog that is hosted by Route53, made with Wordpress.org. It won't load with the following error message: "Error establishing a database connection"
Same error if I try to access my WP admin page
I create a blog years ago: helenasuemartin.com
On my light sail account, I see that my instance is still running Screenshot
Why is this error appearing and what can I do to correct it?
Steps I've taken so far:
Transferred domain register to Wordpress.com. I created the blog with Wordpress.org years ago. Flash forward to the present day, I mistakenly thought it was WordPress.com. Now the transfer is locked until 2024-09-19 on Wordpress.com
Checked to see my instance is still running (see screenshot)
