How to reserve the consecutive EIP?
Looking for an answer for my AWS implementation, does anyone have experience to reserve the Elastic IP range? for example 52.2.2.1 - 52.2.2.8. If yes, does it charge more?
I would assign my AWS instance with consecutive public IP addresses for easy management. Thanks
Hi,
You can request a contiguous block of Elastic IP addresses by cutting a ticket to VPC team. You can open a case with Premium support and they can work with internal team to get assigned the contiguous EIPs for your account in desired region. You can request for IP address up to /24 subnet size. I hope this information helps.
Thanks,
You will need to subscribe to support to open a case; there are various pricing levels - any level is sufficient for this request. https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/pricing/
