amazon-ssm-agent ubuntu patch management

Hi, When patching of ubuntu 22.04 will ba available via amazon-ssm-agent ? I have lot of EC2 instances with linux ubuntu 22.04 which is on the market some time, moreover AWS is supporting this version of ubuntu as official AMI, but amazon-ssm-agent does't support ubuntu fully.

I'm facing the same problem too, is it possibly related to the Python version, which on Ubuntu 22.04 is at least a 3.10, while on other Ubuntus 20.04 I have a 3.8.10?

By the way, the OS version, which is a LTS too, has been released since almost a year, how is it possible that we are still in this situation?

My company is relying on AWS Patch Manager to implement controls for the ISO27001 Certification, what should I tell my certifier when he would ask why Ubuntu 22.04 instances are out of the controls?
