I understand your frustration with the repeated rejections of your 10DLC SMS campaign due to opt-in issues. Based on the information you've provided, there are a few potential reasons why your opt-in process might be considered non-compliant or not explicit enough:
-
Explicit consent: Your opt-in workflow doesn't clearly state how users are providing their explicit consent to receive SMS messages. You should specify the exact method (e.g., "By checking this box and submitting this form, you consent to receive SMS messages from us").
-
Initial message content: Your opt-in confirmation message asks users to reply "YES" to confirm their subscription. This could be seen as requiring an additional step for opt-in, which might not be compliant. Consider removing this requirement and instead send a welcome message that doesn't require further action.
-
Message frequency: Your opt-in workflow mentions "once per month," but your opt-in confirmation message mentions "special offers once a month." This inconsistency could be an issue. Ensure that the frequency is clearly and consistently stated across all messages.
-
Company identification: Make sure your company name is clearly stated in the initial message sent to users, as required by the guidelines.
-
Terms and Conditions: Your opt-in workflow should include a link to your Terms and Conditions, which must be publicly accessible. This link appears to be missing from your current submission.
-
Opt-out information: While you've included opt-out instructions, make sure they are present in your initial opt-in message as well.
To improve your chances of approval, consider restructuring your opt-in workflow to clearly address these points. Make sure to include:
- A clear description of how users opt-in (e.g., through a form on your website)
- Explicit language around SMS opt-in consent
- Consistent information about message frequency
- Links to both Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy
- Clear opt-out instructions in all messages
Remember, the opt-in process should be separate from general terms of service and should specifically relate to SMS messaging consent. If you continue to face rejections after addressing these points, it may be helpful to reach out to AWS Support for more detailed feedback on your specific case.

Please answer the post with a detailed response to the OPs question. What does he need to modify in his post to achieve compliance? I have written paragraph for my campaign opt-in requirements and the system is still rejecting them. The experience is radically worse than Sinch of Twilio. I am wanting to migrate away from Twilio for my SMS messaging needs, but the Amazon registration experience has been terrible as the feedback provided by the system for Campaign Registration is abysmal. Please provide an example of answers that would be accepted by the system. I built template from your response and they are still failing. I populate the links when I submit workflow. Also, suggesting the user resolve their issue via buying a paid service(support) does not see like the correct recommendation to make.

Instead of a general response of several causes, I would like something very specific that will allow a direct review of my content to make it acceptable.
