ACM certificate for subdomain in different aws account validation stuck in pending validation

0

We have a main account that holds route 53 info(DNS and all for the main domain), We have certificates for the main domain and wild card domain in ACM of the main account. I am trying to request a certificate in a test account (this AWS account is separate by itself), and this request is staying at Pending Validations status for a very long time. Am I missing some steps? How can I fix this issue? Help!

Hi, have you followed the User Guide on DNS validation to make sure you did not miss a step? https://docs.aws.amazon.com/acm/latest/userguide/dns-validation.html There is also a support article that explains step-by-step how to do DNS validation using Route 53 here: https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/route-53-validate-acm-certificates/ Also, to help you troubleshoot any issues you may have with DNS validation, see here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/acm/latest/userguide/troubleshooting-DNS-validation.html I hope this helps!
