Connecting to AWS Managed Microsoft AD from a RHEL 6.x OS

I know that only RHEL 7.x is "officially" supported by AWS Managed Microsoft AD, but I wonder if anyone was successful in connecting RHEL 6.x OS to the active directory using "adcli" commands.

I was able to configure RHEL 6.10 to use AWS Active Directory, using the following document as a guideline.
