Survey billing help

To increase your credit limit and publish your survey on Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk), there are a few additional steps you need to take:

1. Link a payment method to your AWS account if you haven't already done so. This is crucial, as without a linked payment method, your first attempt to publish a HIT (Human Intelligence Task) will be denied.

2. Complete identity verification by phone for your AWS account.

3. Use the AWS Service Quotas form to request a quota increase specifically for Mechanical Turk. Here's how:

   • Sign in to the AWS account associated with your MTurk Requester account
   • Navigate to the Service Quotas console
   • Search for the Mechanical Turk quota
   • Enter your desired quota amount
   • Provide justification for the increase if required

When requesting the quota increase, it's recommended to ask for your total projected monthly spend amount for Mechanical Turk. It's best to request the maximum projected amount rather than submitting separate requests for individual projects.

After submitting your request, AWS will review it and send you an email to confirm whether it has been approved. This process should help you increase your credit limit and allow you to publish your survey on MTurk.
