This image shows the red circle with the "x" in it, meaning that the connection to Perforce is disabled. You can click on this icon to enable/disable Perforce, as noted in the documentation here:

As I mentioned, I suspect this is a source control issue due to the error message phrase you used above - "Add and Save Failed Failed to put entries/dependencies into source control as the provider is not available". Apologies for the troubles; Geppetto is part of our legacy tools list and is being replaced with EmotionFX, our new Animation system for Lumberyard. We have videos on how to use EMFX to get your animations into and working with Lumberyard here.
