Possible reasons:
-
Credit Card Authorization: AWS might be performing a small authorization charge on your credit card to verify that the card is still active and valid. These charges are typically temporary and should be reversed automatically.
-
Monthly Subscription Fee: If you have a subscription to a third-party service through the AWS Marketplace, there might be a small recurring fee associated with it.
-
Support Plan Fee: If you are subscribed to an AWS Support plan (e.g., Developer Support), there could be a monthly fee associated with that plan.
Check Billing and Cost Management Dashboard:
- Go to the AWS Management Console.
- Navigate to the Billing and Cost Management Dashboard.
- Check the Bills section for any recurring charges or subscriptions.
Hello and thank you very much for your response. I can tell you for sure that I have never subscribed with any software on AWS Marketplace, nor do I have any support plan (developer starts at the minimum from 29 EURO/month). 1 EURO is too low an amount per subscription, I will check with my bank that it is not point 1. But is it ever possible that every single month AWS tries to take 1 EURO away from me at the beginning of the month?

You mentioned you checked the Cost Explorer detail. What Service, Usage Type, and Charge Type did you see this 1 EUR under?
