Hi,
Did you try connecting to EC2 instance through EC2 instance connect from AWS console itself. EC2 Instance Connect Methods
Click on your instance's instance id on EC2 console -> Connect to instance -> EC2 Instance Connect -> Enter User Name(if custom) -> Click Connect
You should be able to get in to your instance from here and get your website up and running first.

Thanks for that. I just tried it and I got this message...
Failed to connect to your instance EC2 Instance Connect is unable to connect to your instance. Ensure your instance network settings are configured correctly for EC2 Instance Connect. For more information, see Set up EC2 Instance Connect at https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/ec2-instance-connect-set-up.html.
Make sure you have the security group added to EC2 instance, which have the inbound rule for all traffic/all protocol( All All 0.0.0.0/0) temporarily. Once you are in and done with your things, you can limit it to SSH, although you can start trying with SSH/your ip also. Keep me posted, how it goes.
Were you able to resolve this?
