Our Redshift cluster has had considerable slow downs for all of our queries since the automatic update on 29th October and is impairing the production system performance

We're seeing queries running much slower (taking 2-3x the time), and cluster load jumped up to double what it was before this release. We had no changes on or around this date as all the staff who could have made a change were on holiday that week.

There has been no change in 4 weeks, so this is not due to cache invalidation.

We have two open support questions about this which have been unassigned for 3 and 5 days.
