NotExportable error. Can't export an EC2 instance as OVA image.

Question

It looks like multiple users are facing the same issue from a couple of days ago. https://github.com/aws/aws-sdk/issues/203
As part of our automated release process, the OVA image will be exported at the end.
The automation worked well until a couple of days ago. We are seeing the below error.

```
An error occurred (NotExportable) when calling the CreateInstanceExportTask operation: The snapshot ID (xxx) of the instance neither is owned by current user nor had been previously imported through VMIE.
```

Here is the command which I used.
```
aws ec2 create-instance-export-task --instance-id xxx --target-environment vmware - -export-to-s3-task DiskImageFormat=vmdk,ContainerFormat=ova,S3Bucket=xxx,S3Prefix=xxx
```

Here is my environment
```
aws-cli/1.21.6 Python/3.8.10 Linux/5.10.16.3-microsoft-standard-WSL2 botocore/1.21.42
```

Thank you for reaching out to re:Post. I understand that you are having an error while you are having a problem exporting an EC2 instance as an OVA image.
 
From my investigation, your error is specific to the CLI command create-instance-export-task. This issue has been escalated and has been fixed in March 17, 2022.
