Unable to release Elastic IP

0

I searched through the forums to see if there is a solution to release Elastic IP. I couldn't find a solution for my problem.

So I am looking to release Elastic IP. And here is the error message I am getting -
You do not have permission to access the specified resource.

Next I clicked on Network Interface Id and tried to detach it and here is the error message I am getting -
eni-017111c220845197b: You are not allowed to manage 'ela-attach' attachments.

So what do I need to do next?

Nevermind. I learned that my EIP was linked to ENI that was linked to NAT Gateway.

I backtracked and released all! I am hoping there won't be any more EIP costs to pay!

@Amazon - who do I need to chat with to get (one-time courtesy) credit for this silliness?
