Oracle db link from aws cloud to on-premises

Can you create db link on AWS Oracle db that connects to Oracle on-premises db? If yes, can you use it to have materialized views on cloud using data from on- premises db and if anyone has experience with this ( latency or any other problems)? Thanks

Hello,

This is possible if you have a private network connection to your on-premises databases (with either VPN or Direct connect).

The latency and bandwidth will depend on the distance to the AWS and the provisioned throughput for Direct Connect / VPN.
