Question: Has anyone encountered a situation where the results obtained from Amazon Rekognition differ when using the console versus the API? I have noticed inconsistencies between the two and I'm wondering if others have experienced the same issue. Additionally, I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this problem. Thank you!

  • I have encountered a discrepancy when comparing a photo of a customer holding their ID card to the ID card photo itself. When using the AWS console, the system detects two faces (the customer's face and the face from the ID card photo). However, when utilizing the API, it returns that only one person has been detected. Also the face pic in ID is not very big.
