SaaS product onboarding process

0

I have been trying to list my in-development SaaS application onto AWS. I experienced the following challenges, and could use some help from the experts here.

  1. It seems that there are multiple AWS portals. Which one should I go to start my SaaS registration process?
  2. Is there a go-to-documentation that I can find all the required steps?
  3. Do I need to become an AWS partner to list my app? What's good for me to become a partner?
  4. I found some tutorial videos from AWS YouTube channel about the process. What's the API Dimension under Product Pricing? Also, is additional development work required for payment integration with AWS?

Hi Sam,

To start listing your SaaS application on AWS:

  1. Correct Portal: Use the AWS Marketplace Management Portal to register and manage your SaaS product.

  2. Documentation: Refer to the AWS Marketplace Seller Guide for all the steps required.

  3. AWS Partner Requirement: Becoming an AWS Partner is necessary to list your product, offering benefits like marketing support. Check out the AWS Partner Network (APN) for more details.

  4. API Dimension under Product Pricing: This refers to how your product's usage is measured, like API requests.

  5. Payment Integration: AWS handles billing, but you might need additional development for integration using AWS Marketplace APIs.

These resources should help you navigate the process smoothly.

I'm preparing my software to become an AWS partner (Software Path) and currently studying more about the requirements and process to ensure everything aligns with AWS guidelines (generally FTR). I'm here to help.
