For BYOIP, does AWS advertise the entire range or the Elastic IPs assigned from it ?

IHAC who is planning to BYOIP a /24 IPv4 address range. They want to know if AWS will advertise the entire /24 range or the individual elastic IPs

The entire /24 is advertised because (by convention and general agreement) that's the smallest block of IP addresses that can be advertised on the internet.

**From AWS documentation**

After the address range is provisioned, it is ready to be advertised. You must advertise the exact address range that you provisioned. You can't advertise only a portion of the provisioned address range.
