Transferring a domain registered at an external registrar to Amazon Lightsail

I have a domain registered with an external registrar that is about to expire and I want to transfer it to my Amazon Lightsail instance. I currently have the domain configured in Amazon Lightsail and in the external domain registrar I have configured the DNS of my DNS Zone of my Amazon Lightsail instance. Is it possible to deregister the domain at the external registrar and have it managed and billed at Amazon Lightsail?

Hi, To use your domain from external registered provider. you can transfer the domain from registerar to AWS by using Route 53 , follow the instructions .

Amazon Lightsail uses Amazon Route 53 for DNS.
