Hello.
Reserved Instances and Savings Plans also apply to EC2 that operates only for a certain period of time.
However, this only applies when EC2 is running.
Therefore, you need to calculate the cost to see which is cheaper: running 24 hours a day and allocating 100% of Reserved Instances and Savings Plans, or stopping for a certain period of time.

Hi, as suggested by Riku, Saving Plans are probably more appropriate than Reserved Instances for your use case
