How can I use RDS Custom for SQL Server with High Availability, Multi-AZ or AlwaysOn?

I'd like to provide mirroring or redundancy across AZs with RDS Custom for SQL Server. How can this be done and is it possible?

Yes, Amazon RDS Custom for SQL Server supports multi-AZ deployment. See the blog here: https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/database/configure-multi-az-with-amazon-rds-custom-for-sql-server/

RDS Custom for SQL Server uses block-level replication, not AlwaysOn. If you want to use AlwaysOn specifically or in conjunction, speak to your Amazon Solutions Architect.
