In the Global Accelerator documention it states that Application Load Balancers can be on private subnets. Is this also true for NLB - can the customer NLB be on a private subnet as well?

The NLB needs to be internet-facing

From https://docs.aws.amazon.com/global-accelerator/latest/dg/about-endpoints.html

An Application Load Balancer endpoint can be internet-facing or internal. A Network Load Balancer endpoint must be internet-facing.
