Hello, I'd be happy to help you get your Lightsail instance back online. Could you please provide some additional details? Specifically:
- Have you checked the Lightsail console for any error messages or alerts related to your instance?
- Is the instance currently running, or is it still unresponsive?
- When you say it takes several attempts to come up, what exactly happens during these attempts?
- Can you confirm whether the static IP is correctly configured and associated with the instance?
- What exactly did you read about flushing, and where did you come across this information? Flushing typically refers to clearing cached data.

Hi,
Instances can take a few minutes to be running
again after a stop
. So would advise you to wait a bit :)
With the StaticIp, there should be no change to your instance's public IPv4 address due to the stop-start actions or any other DNS related changes needed once it becomes running. So you should be all good there.
Thanks.
Whew you nailed sir ! Yeah I was fretting a bit as everything looked good on the dashboard. And a big THANK YOU for your reply !!

It appears to have rectified itself. Was just odd behavior for a bit, but everything looks fine now .. i hope !!! Yeah, the flushing messaged came up when I mistakenly did a force stop (instead of a reboot). I cannot recall the exact wording but it was indeed similar to clearing the cache. I will investigate how to do that for future needs. Thank you ! I cannot believe to speedy responses here and am eternally grateful !!
Good to know it!!
