Using diagrams from blog articles as part of my presentations at conferences

0

Hi, I want to use some diagrams that appear inside aws blogposts as part of few sessions I have in upcoming conferences.

For example: RTO-RPO-diagram https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/architecture/disaster-recovery-dr-architecture-on-aws-part-i-strategies-for-recovery-in-the-cloud/

Can someone tell me for sure if it's legally allowed, and if so - do I need to do something regarding copyrights?

Thanks

The short and simple answer is Yes!

You can use amazon product images in your affiliate article. But you can upload them as they are.

You are not allowed to edit or modify them. If you do so, then Amazon will take that seriously.

You can use product images copied from Amazon on your website.

Also, keep in mind that you do not use images that contain Amazon logos or pictures in the background or anywhere on your web pages.

If you can't find images of products on Amazon, then you can download copyright-free images of that product from Google Images.

This is one of the conversion with AWS affiliate support to clear this. asked: “Can I download and modify product images and then publish on my blog post? This is their reply.
