Hello,
if you didn't enter the country code with the phone number. You can delete pending or verified destination phone numbers only after 24 hours or more have passed since verification or the last verification attempt.
To add and verify phone numbers in sandbox account please follow this guide: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sns/latest/dg/sns-sms-sandbox-verifying-phone-numbers.html
According to this doc https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sms-voice/latest/userguide/phone-number-types.html#phone-number-types-choosing-oneway I do not need and origination ID. Also when I go to choose a toll free number using the guides you sent. My country UK , is not listed . Thanks for guides though I am still trying to figure it out.
Hi,
The destination phone number and its verification status appear in the Sandbox destination phone numbers section. If the verification status is Pending, verification was unsuccessful. This can happen, for example, if you didn't enter the country code with the phone number. You can delete pending or verified destination phone numbers only after 24 hours or more have passed since verification or the last verification attempt.

Thank you, the information in origination numbers is confusing, its seems different between countries and sandbox etc. I created a SenderID in PinPointSMS and then I registered a different number and its now working. I will wait 24hrs to try my number again.
