One or more domains requested are already associated with another Amplify

0

Hi! I bought a domain from route 53 and i was trying to link it to my amplify app using the custom domain but its throwing the following error One or more domains requested are already associated with another Amplify app: xxxxxmydomain.com. I checked that i have no app registered with this domain in amplify or my aws account. but it seems like the person who was using this domain earlier had an app in amplify and had registered it and aws didn't remove its binding when i bought the domain. Does anyone have any idea how to unbind this domain ? Thanks!

Hello.

If the domain is not linked to Amplify or CloudFront created in your AWS account, I don't think there is much you can do.
I think the only other thing you can do is contact AWS Support.

If this domain was successfully connected to another app and then deleted within the last hour, try again after at least one hour has passed. If you still see this exception after 6 hours, contact AWS Support. For more information, see Creating a support case in the AWS Support User Guide.

If you don't have access to the account that contains the source distribution or you can't deactivate the source distribution, then contact AWS Support.
