No FlexMatch MatchmakingCancelled event is sent to SNS when the matchmaking is canceled due to duplicate players

Hi there, when the same user sends two matchmaking requests, one will be automatically canceled but the MatchmakingCancelled event is not sent to SNS. It seems the MatchmakingCancelled event can only be triggered when using StopMatchmaking.

Hi,

Thank you for reporting this. We have passed this along to the service team to take a closer look. In the meantime, could you try using DescribeMatchmaking as a fallback to query for the ticket status if in the off-chance that you haven't received a FlexMatch notification? That should hopefully get you unblocked and help restart the ticket if needed.
