AWS console not loading in us-east-1: API Error

AWS console is slow and not loading with errors such as : API ERROR , Failed to Fetch etc. since 30mins , ~12:00PM UTC. Other regions seem to load fine , are there any ongoing issues ? Nothing listed on the https://health.console.aws.amazon.com/health/home#/account/dashboard/open-issues but looks like some issue. Could someone please confirm if any ongoing issue ?

Hello.

I am accessing the console in the us-east-1 region with my AWS account, and I have not experienced any issues such as slow operation.
I'm accessing from Tokyo.
I think there is probably some problem with the network you are using.

  • I also saw the image you shared, but it doesn't occur on my AWS account. Are there any restrictions on the use of us-east-1 using IAM or SCP? I also recommend that you open your browser's developer tools and check network diagnostics.

Right now, I am Working in the same region for me it is accessing without any error.

You're likely experiencing a temporary issue with the AWS console in the us-east-1 region and check your internet connection.

  • Check Once Your Time in your Working system may be sometimes it may be issue with time.

Recently I am also facing same issue and I check 3 minutes faster than original time period.!

  • Go to Settings in Desktop or lap and open Time and date and change the time with your time-zone.
  • Then click refresh it will be working without any errors.

Thanks for the prompt response, I'll try some of those steps to double check. I initially thought it could be the network as well given I have experienced something similar in the past, but other regions load just fine expect for us-east-1. Also, any services we run in us-east-1 are currently slow/ somewhat inaccessible.
