Errors with installing Amazon Connect CTI Adapter in Salesforce Lightning

0

While trying to install Amazon Connect CTI adapater in Salesforce Lighthning, the installation fails with the below error. Your request to install package "Amazon Connect - Universal Package Winter 2024" was unsuccessful Problem:

  1. Missing Organization Feature: ApiAndPlatformEvents null
  2. Missing Organization Feature: ApiAndHighVolumePlatformEvents null

I'm experimenting with my lab accounts and sandbox environments. I recall not encountering this issue while operating on a customer platform over a year ago. It's conceivable that a teammate may have addressed it, and I might have missed it. This error appears to be widely recognized, yet I haven't been able to locate the settings in Salesforce to resolve it. Any suggestions?

Are you currently using Professional edition as it appears there are several features not available in the Professional edition that are needed to install items that interact with the API. Several items I am seeing say you need to be using playground or developer addition to get access to the above APIs at min.

  • Thank you. Yes, I ended up reaching out to Salesforce resource in the team. Yes, you are right and I ended up doing using Developer Edition and was able to make progress.

I've encountered some new issues in the process. One of them is that contact or account information doesn't seem to pop up for incoming calls.I have cross checked the settings and configurations but still an issue. Any ideas?

  • nvm. The account pop up was isolated to browser issue.
