Hi there, I have created a standard AWS service account. I go to the console --> select account --> scroll down to GovCloud under more options.

I am redirected to the page below. Says I am out of region I am located in the US so don't understand why it is telling me that I am out of region?

Hello,

Recommendation is to proceed with contacting AWS Customer Support, as it is not possible to go directly into GovCloud without government authorization.

I don't think it's the region preventing you from signing up. Locating in US doesn't necessarily guarantee you will be able to sign up for GovCloud as there are other requirements to meet. Please refer to the documentation. Please contact Customer Support as suggested if you believe you have met all the requirements. There must be something being flagged.
