AWS-Mulesoft integration ideas

Hello, As of now we are using LAMBDA function synchronously calling Mulesoft API for syncing data. I have seen a option "Mulesoft SQS connector" for Asynchronous pattern of integrating both systems as an alternate to decouple and scaling.

In general for Entreprise workloads if we have a hybrid platforms where data in AWS integrate with Mulesoft and vice versa, what is the best method of integrating them and if any Pros and Cons if a method suggested.

I'd suggest you to go to https://www.mulesoft.com/integration-solutions/soa/aws and follow tutorial + download whitepaper to see how to best integrate with AWS as proposed by MuleSoft.
