If all of your AWS Lightsail instances, including a newly created WordPress server, are non-operational, there could be several potential causes for this issue. Here are some possibilities to consider:

  1. Resource limitations: Your Lightsail plan may have exhausted its available resources, particularly CPU credits. When CPU usage exceeds 10%, the instance starts using burst credits. If these credits are depleted, performance can drop significantly, potentially causing websites to become unresponsive.

  2. Network or connectivity issues: There might be a problem with the network configuration or connectivity between your instances and the internet.

  3. DNS configuration: If you've recently created a new WordPress server, ensure that your DNS settings are correctly configured to point to the new instance's IP address.

  4. WordPress configuration: For the new WordPress server specifically, there could be an issue with the WordPress setup or configuration.

  5. Server overload: If you're running multiple websites on a single instance with limited resources (2 GB RAM, 1 vCPU, 60 GB SSD), it's possible that the server is overloaded, especially during high traffic periods.

To troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

  1. Check the CPU load and burst capacity of your instances in the Lightsail dashboard. If you're consistently hitting resource limits, consider upgrading to a larger instance size.

  2. Restart your instances if you haven't already done so. This can sometimes resolve temporary issues.

  3. Verify your DNS settings to ensure they're pointing to the correct IP addresses.

  4. For the new WordPress server, go through the WordPress setup process again, ensuring all steps are completed correctly.

  5. Review your server logs for any error messages that might indicate the root cause of the problem.

  6. If the issue persists, contact AWS support for further assistance in diagnosing and resolving the problem.

Remember to regularly monitor your instance's performance and resource usage to prevent similar issues in the future.
