I have a runn p2.xlarge instance that I wish to permanently terminate

I have tried to do so twice but it gets re-launched. I read on one thread that this is because the Elastic Beanstalk treat manual terminations as owing to faults and will reinstant all such. I have been under the Beanstalk menu (and that of Auto scaling as suggested on another thread) with no go. It seems both still need me to 'Get started...'. Assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Contacted support and the instance is now terminated as desired
