Failing to mount EFS volume on EKS Fargate

0

I'm unable to mount an EFS volume. I get this error on the pod:

Warning FailedAttachVolume 39s attachdetach-controller AttachVolume.Attach failed for volume "my-pv-name" : timed out waiting for external-attacher of efs.csi.aws.com CSI driver to attach volume fs-my-efs-volume-id:/

The PV and the PVC are created successfully and are bound.

The EFS security group allows connections from the EKS cluster.

As I'm using Fargate, I can't see the efs.csi.aws.com CSI driver logs. Any idea if these logs are visible somewhere when using Fargate on EKS?

Any idea what the issue could be?

Thank you for your help

I found the issue. I was missing the CSIDriver resource on Kubernetes so the EFS CSI Driver automatically installed for Fargate could be discovered:

apiVersion: storage.k8s.io/v1
kind: CSIDriver
metadata:
  name: efs.csi.aws.com
spec:
  attachRequired: false
