Gateway Volume Won't Detach

Hi

We asked to detach a volume from the gateway and it hasn't left that status for many days, how can I unlock it?

I am trying this command without success

aws storagegateway detach-volume --volume-arn "arn:aws:storagegateway:us-east-1:xxxxx:gateway/sgw-xxxxxx/volume/vol-xxxxxxx" --force

    See my answer: it's not --force but --force-detach

Hi, did you try the --force-detach option via CLI ? See https://awscli.amazonaws.com/v2/documentation/api/latest/reference/storagegateway/detach-volume.html
