Assert Error in Redshift

0

Hi,

We have few cross-database views (same cluster, different DBs), which, when querying from a BI tool by multiple users same time produce following error sometimes: ERROR: ----------------------------------------------- error: Assert code: 1000 context: rv->is_only_metadata_temp_creator - query: 0 location: StorageOidManager.cpp:744 process: padbmaster [pid=1073848667] ----------------------------------------------- What is the reason for it and what should be done to fix it?

PS. What is this hypocrisy? Why repost is showing me this when i submit my question? The error is from Redshift, how am i supposed to report it?

Hello,

Assert errors are specific to your cluster, queries being executed and the data being accessed. In general, the above error occurs when there is a metadata overlap and need Redshift team to investigate. Kindly, please raise a case to AWS Support team so that an engineer can investigate and provide you possible mitigation measures.

Thank you !!
