Unable to stop RDS Database with replicas

Hi I would like to stop RDS database that has replicas to save money but it is not allowing me. Does anyone has a clue? I would very much appreciate it Many thanks

You can't stop a DB instance that has a read replica, or that is a read replica. Please see: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/UserGuide/USER_StopInstance.html under "Limitations.". You can delete all the read replicas and then stop the primary instance, if desired.
