AWSEDUCATE "create key pair" and RDP

Using the AWSEDUCATE account, is it somehow possible to connect via RDP? On this type of account, I can't generate a key using "create key pair" because an authorization error pops up. And without a key, I can't use RDP. Or in any other way connect from Windows to the desktop of the running instance.
