Is it possible to delete contact detail from Amazon connect?

I need to store all contact details into my database and don't want to keep all contact data with Amazon Connect anymore. Is there solution to delete contact details programmatically from Amazon Connect?

Currently, it is not possible to delete a Contact Trace records (CTR) from contact search page. CTRs are available within your instance for 24 months from the time when the associated contact was initiated [+] and CTR is the base for other reports like Historical, Realtime etc, so deleting it can mess up that too. You can also stream contact records to Amazon Kinesis to retain the data longer, and perform advanced analysis on it.
