This is a common issue that can occur with AWS accounts, even for those that aren't brand new. When you see a message indicating your account is under verification despite having created it a few days ago, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Wait a bit longer - although verification messages typically mention up to two days, the process can sometimes take longer than expected.

  2. Try changing your AWS region in the console and attempt to access services again.

  3. Clear your browser cache and cookies, or try using a different browser or an incognito/private browsing window.

  4. Refresh your AWS Management Console completely.

  5. Check that your time and date settings on your device are correct, as authentication can be sensitive to time discrepancies.

  6. Verify that you've completed all verification steps during the account creation process, including any email confirmations or phone verifications.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, the most effective solution would be to contact AWS Support directly. You can open a support case under the "Account and billing" category. This type of support is available free of charge, even for users on the basic support plan.

When contacting support, be sure to mention that your account is a few days old and that you've already completed the initial verification steps. AWS Support has access to account-specific information that can help resolve verification issues more effectively.
