RDS Access denied for user 'admin'@'%'

Before updating to 8.0 I can easily create a Table on Mysql management studio. But now if I try to create a table it always gives me an "Error Code: 1044. Access denied for user 'admin'@'%' to database 'sys'" even though I'm using the root user.

This happened after updating to 8.0 Can somebody help?

PS. I can create a stored procedure without a problem. Privilege error Popup when I Create or Alter the table.

    I also have the same exact problem. All of the privileges have been granted to admin, yet ALTER doesn't work. Did you find a solution?
