0

I use this website to create a layer of aws wrangler

https://serverlessrepo.aws.amazon.com/applications/us-east-1/336392948345/aws-data-wrangler-layer-py3-8 but when I am adding it it shows it exceed the size limit AWS Lambda Layer. I tried other way through CMD to install aws and zip it and then add into layer but still same then I tried using S3 bucket but still it doesnt work. I split the dependcies too but still it showing same. It shows that unzipped file shouldnt be greater than 250MB but when I unzipped the folder it is around 124 MB only. Please give me a way

Hey, @Mahar.

I believe it's your Lambda Function code, not your layer, that's having the size issue.

My team has moved a few Lambda Functions to Docker images, rather than zip or S3, to take care of the size concern. I think that would be your best bet as well. Once you move your Lambda Function over to Docker, you should be able to add the awswrangler layer to your Function with no problem.

More details on that here.
