PhpMailer suddenly cannot send anymore mail with Amazon SES

Question

My PHP mail script does not send any more email suddenly with Amazon AWS
The script is running indefinitely when calling the Send() function, without any error message returning, then stops.

I use this script since many years without problem, it stops working suddenly .

Seems a probleme when calling the SMTP interface, but no error message catched.

I tried my credentials and my account from a wordpress plugin, and it worked perfectly. 
This only happens when using phpmailer function...

Do you have any clue ?

yes the telnet works, as well as any other sending via another website

after further investigations, it seems the 465 TLS port has been blocked by my hosting service, don't know why

I managed to make my script work again using port 587.

How about basic SMTP connection, is it work?

telnet email-smtp..amazonaws.com 587
```
