Verifying domain _amazonses. "Pending SES domain ownership verification"

I am using Amazon DNS from my LightSail setup to host my DNS, I tried to configure my domain name for WorkMail today and I was able to quickly validate all the DNS changes with the exception of the TXT record for _amazonses.(domain).com, is the only one still pending.

Do I really have to wait up to 72 hours to make sure the validation goes through and finally setup my mailbox? Could be a possible error on the Amazon or my side an that's why I am not able to validate this TXT record?. Everything seems setup as need it.

Apparently it just took more time than expected to validate this TXT record.
All the DNS changes are validated now.
